Description

Volkswagen VW Bulli T1 4-cylinder boxer engine 1950-1953 1/4 scale kit

The VW T1, more precisely the VW Type 2 T1, also known as the Bulli, was a small van from Volkswagenwerk GmbH (from 1960: AG). The T1 was the first model in the VW Bus series, whose models were officially called VW Transporter and internally Type 2. After the VW Beetle, internally Type 1, the VW Bus is the second series of the VW plant for civilian use and is still produced today as the VW T7. The Transporter was developed from 1949 and brought to market maturity in 1950. The van, which was the market leader during its production period, is regarded as a symbol of the German economic miracle. One of the first motorhomes was built on its basis.

  • True-to-original functional model of the classic, air-cooled 4-cylinder engine block from 1950 on a scale of 1/4 (approx. 22 x 20 x 17 cm)
  • 200 plastic components for screwing and plugging (no gluing) - crankshaft, pistons and valves even move
  • The transparent engine housing allows an exciting look inside
  • The integrated sound module offers a powerful original Bulli sound
  • Officially Volkswagen-licensed product, including detailed assembly instructions and comprehensive manual with lots of information about the VW engine

Also required: 3 x 1.5 V batteries (type AA) - not included in the scope of delivery
