In the 1985 Formula 1 season, Italian racing driver Michele Alboreto competed in the Ferrari 156/85 of Scuderia Ferrari. At the German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, he was able to fight his way from 8th on the grid to the front of the field and cross the finish line in first place after completing 67 laps. At the end of the season, he finished 2nd overall with 53 points.
