At the 2017 LeMans 24h race, the Porsche LMP Team took to the grid with the Porsche 919 Hybrid. The drivers Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber started under the starting number 2. The trio won the race after 367 completed laps and secured the hat-trick for the Porsche 919 Hybrid.
