The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring is one of the most legendary endurance races in the world and has been held annually since 1970. The combination of the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit gives the Nürburgring circuit its incomparable charm, which never fails to captivate drivers and fans alike.
Manthey-Racing is the sole record holder of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with a total of seven victories in the overall classification - and there is still no end in sight.
The Manthey team entered the 51st edition of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with the starting number 911. With the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the Grello design, drivers Michael Christensen, Kevin Estre, Frédéric Makowiecki and Thomas Preining were among the favourites again this year. But luck was not to be with Manthey in 2023. After completing 62 laps, the team had to end the race prematurely due to tyre problems.
