BMW M3 (E46) Year of construction 2000 Laguna Seca blue Model in scale 1/18
The BMW M3 is a sports model of the BMW 3 series, which has been produced since the beginning of 1986. Built from mid-2000 onwards, the M3 (E46) has a high-revving 3.2-litre in-line six-cylinder engine that produces 252 kW (343 hp) at 7900 min.
Externally, it differs from other models in the 3-series by, among other things, the bulge on the aluminium bonnet, the so-called "power dome", which, however, has no technical function. Further differences to the normal 3-series are wider wheel arches, aerodynamically optimised exterior mirrors, forged light alloy wheels in 18- or 19-inch, a two-pipe exhaust system with four tailpipes, a front apron as well as air outlets ("gills") in the wings serving to ventilate the electronics.
